Avoidance is a survival strategy that can serve to protect as well as isolate. With this piece, the work shows several layers that help to protect through the action of evading. The inner organic form is mostly concealed, only briefly revealing a partly shiny layer below. The evasion physically and emotionally contradicts through protecting and isolating at the same time.
