LIMBO

This work is looking at how restriction works within survival strategies. Limbo is witnessing the contradiction between a restriction hurting you and a restriction that can serve a purpose in survival. Stretching the white, acrylic-dipped, fishing net across each of the three panels creates a concentrated tension of net created by its own tension. This gives the piece a feeling of being lifted up and constrained at the same time.
