OFFERING

With Offering I am investigating the idea that relationships have the possibility of adding security while also building on established vulnerabilities. In this piece, the line of gently, bunched muslin extends itself to the viewer first, very much like a peace offering. However, the soft, all-white grouping strung against the flat, scarred surface gives a sense of the contradiction that is taking place.
