DISPLACED

Made in Corpus Christi after evacuating from New Orleans, immediately following Hurricane Katrina, Displaced is unruly and raw with torn clay and black surfaces. The slabs resemble building broken homes or reflecting some version of the instability during that time. They are earth re-worked to claim some sort of shred of identity.
